2019 Student Concerto Competition

Now in its 10th year, the Kensington Sinfonia offers the opportunity for one talented student to perform with them at the final concert of the season.  Open to student instrumentalists aged 18 and under who are based in and around Calgary, this competition focuses largely on repertoire specific to our ensemble.

It is intended to provide a professional performance opportunity to young, talented students. If you are interested, please download and review the rules and regulations below. This year, students 21 and under from across Southern Alberta are welcome to apply. You may send your application by mail or e-mail in PDF format.

This year's competition will be on Saturday, April 6th from 1-4PM in room ED 1001 at the Mount Royal Conservatory. All applicants will be contacted with performance times.

We look forward to hearing you!
