We are excited to present "Triptych,” by Canadian composer Elizabeth Knudson as the featured piece of our second concert. Based on Hieronymus Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights,” each of the movements is inspired by a different area of this painter's masterwork. Also on the program are Vivaldi's 2 violin concerto in A minor RV523 and Carlo Tessarini's lively Overture from "La Stravangaza.” To end, Robert Fuchs’ Serenade No. 1 is a fresh take on the form, cast in five concise movements exhibits lyrical melodies, graceful dances, playful scherzos and a high-spirited finale!

For our final concert of the season we will be handing over leadership to our new Artistic Director, Laura Reid and saying farewell to our current Artistic Director Donovan Seidle. Featured works include Purcell's Chaconne from "The Gordian Knot Untied", a new premiere from Donovan Seidle, and Philip Glass's Echorus for 2 violins. We welcome soloist Sarah Gieck for her Devienne flute concerto in E minor, and this year's concerto competition winner.
